Who can play
8 Ball Pesa is for people aged 18 and over in Kenya. One account per person, using an M-Pesa number registered in your own name.
How matches work
Matches are one frame of 8-ball against another player. Both players stake the same amount. The winner receives the pot minus the platform fee, which is shown before every cash match. The outcome depends only on the players' skill; the physics are identical for both players and checked by our servers.
Fair play
Automated play, aim assistance, colluding with an opponent, sharing accounts and multiple accounts are not allowed. We may void matches and withhold winnings where we find cheating, and refund the honest player.
Disconnections
If you lose connection you have 60 seconds to rejoin before the frame is forfeited. If a match fails before the first shot, both stakes are refunded.
Deposits and withdrawals
Money moves only through M-Pesa in Kenyan shillings. Withdrawals require identity verification and your PIN, and may be reviewed for security. We never ask for your M-Pesa PIN.
Payments are one-off
Every deposit is a single wallet top-up you approve on your phone, and every store item (cues and tables) is bought once and is yours to keep. Nothing is a subscription and nothing is ever charged again automatically.
Your profile photo
Only upload a photo you took yourself or have permission to use. We remove photos that infringe someone's copyright or break our rules. Under our repeat-infringer policy, 3 copyright strikes end photo uploads on your account for good, and we may close the account. See Copyright & DMCA.
Responsible gaming
You can set deposit and stake limits, session reminders, and self-exclude at any time. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed early.
